One of KPI’s most significant environmental milestones is our investment in renewable energy. Our production facilities are equipped with 99,000 solar panels, generating over 400,000 kilowatt-hours of clean energy each month. This solar energy powers our manufacturing processes, significantly reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and cutting carbon emissions. It is a tangible step in our journey toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Moving Toward Net Zero
KPI has set a medium-term goal of achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions. This journey involves increasing the share of renewable energy used, expanding the use of recycled raw materials, and implementing strict pollution controls throughout our operations. We are also developing internal carbon tracking systems to monitor and continuously improve our emissions footprint.
A Fully Integrated Recycling Ecosystem
Our commitment to sustainability is reinforced by King Energy & Waste Solutions, a key affiliate that specializes in recycling plastic waste from landfills, households, and industrial sources. These materials are transformed into high-quality recycled plastic pellets, which are reused in our packaging production. This system helps reduce overall waste, lower dependency on virgin materials, and supports a circular economy at scale.
Engaging the Community, Protecting the Environment
At KPI, we do not view environmental responsibility as a burden, but as a shared mission that involves all stakeholders. We are committed to fostering a sense of social and environmental awareness among our employees through ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Our programs include tree planting in green zones surrounding our factory, community clean-up events in collaboration with local authorities, environmental education sessions in schools, and the provision of eco-friendly equipment to various organizations. These efforts reflect our goal to create “tangible sustainability”—not only within our facilities, but also throughout the broader community.

Our factory is thoughtfully designed to complement the local context and contribute to the area’s economic growth. A clear example of this is the development of local accommodations—such as boarding houses—which address the housing needs of our employees while generating income for local entrepreneurs.
Additionally, our employees frequently support nearby local markets and shops that sell food, produce, and community-made goods. This fosters a circular economy and helps cultivate long-term, meaningful relationships between KPI and the surrounding community.
